About a month and a half, following Liz's death, a Book Sale was held on behalf of JDIFL. Over 3,000 books from Liz's own library were organized and sold. Over $2,900.00 was raised for JDIFL.At a NAWBO- National Association of Women Business Owners- annual holiday auction, $6,000 was raised for J.D.I.F.L..We were given a booth at the Total Woman's Show in February where we were able to talk to hundreds of women. Just Walk It For Liz Ovarian Cancer 2 mile walk took place on Saturday, June 4,2005 and raised more than $9,000.00.
